Wynn's Story

His Story.
His Savior.

In memory of a man who loved to share Jesus.

Dad had a simple and joyful way of sharing Jesus. He would hand out tiny plastic Jesus figures as a small but meaningful reminder of a very big hope. After he passed away, our family began continuing that tradition in his memory by giving these little Jesuses away too—sometimes directly to people, and sometimes by leaving them out in the community to be found unexpectedly.

This blog is a place to share that story. It’s here to honor Dad’s life, remember his heart for evangelism, and invite others into the joy of passing along Jesus in small but memorable ways. If you found one of these little figures, we’d love for you to share where you found it, what it meant to you, or even your own story of faith and evangelism.

A tiny Jesus may seem like a small thing, but sometimes God uses small things to leave a lasting mark.

When Dad Got Sick...

It was less than a month from his cancer diagnosis to days in the hospital, some treatment, and then ultimately hospice at home. Through every step of his journey, he gave a little Jesus to his nurses, his doctors, the cleaning staff and dietary aides, hospice aides, ambulance drivers and everyone in between. He always kept up his jokes, kept a good spirit and shared Jesus with joy to the very last moment. His forever phrase was God's Got This. He shared it with everyone.

Found Him.
Shared Him.

At dad's visitation we had a basket of his Jesus figures. We encouraged everyone to take some and pass them along just like dad would have. Shortly after his services we started receiving messages from family and friends telling us where they had hidden their Jesus, who they had given it to or that they had just found one in the community and thought of him. That sparked an idea- what if we continue dad's legacy with a blog that is attached to the Jesus figures we give out!
